Ever hear your comment notification bell ringing louder than the school bell before the holiday break...?
Well, congratulations on that high-engagement post you were aiming for!
It'd be great if managing those comments felt less like the final exams and more like the school disco. 😉 Good news!
With Auto-moderation, you can auto-handle comments on specific posts like product launches, promotional posts, sensitive topics, or time-limited offers. Let's get right to it.
How it works
How to set up rules for specific posts
To set up Auto-moderation rules for comments on specific posts, just follow these easy steps:
Choose your social media platform (you can pick one: Facebook - including ads, Instagram, or Instagram ads):
Then, pick the social media profiles your rule will work on. 👆🏽 You can choose multiple pages
Next, select either 'Comments for specific post' or 'Comments and subcomments for specific post' as 'Message Type':
🗯️ You can choose both organic and ad posts (including dark posts), as long as they've been published within the last 30 days
💡 'Comments for specific post' targets top-level comments only (those initial comments made by users), while 'Comments and subcomments for specific post' includes both top-level comments and responses to these comments (subcomments)
A list of your posts for the selected social media profiles will appear.
Feel free to pick as many as you'd like for your rule to moderate:
🖊️ Remember, you can always come back to edit your rule and deselect or add in posts if needed
You can specify the trigger for your rule. Does it activate when users use specific keywords in their comments, or users are tagged in a specific way?
