You've figured out where and when to run your Auto-moderation rules. Now, are you ready to tackle the actions? Of course, you are!

From swiftly handling customer complaints to seizing those golden sales opportunities, NapoleonCat can work wonders for you.

Let's x-ray ๐Ÿ” the most vital block of building Auto-moderation rules: Social Media Actions and NapoleonCat actions.

๐Ÿ”— For a full picture, be sure to check out the complete guide on creating Auto-moderation rules.

๐Ÿงฑ In articles like this one, you'll get a closer look at each individual block, making them crystal clear. Let's get going!

Third block: Actions

๐Ÿฆธโ€โ™€๏ธ Customer happiness won't skyrocket without swift and spot-on responses.

๐Ÿงน Your Facebook page won't stay neat and tidy without automatically sweeping away those annoying crypto or OnlyFans links.

๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ And your customer care team won't get a breather if they're buried under 150 comments every day. But with NapoleonCat, you can make all of this happen and more!

Now, it's your turn to decide what actions your Auto-moderation rule will take.

Actions are like a dynamic duo: you can use social media (external) actions that'll reflect on the social media platform itself, and NapoleonCat (internal actions) that keep your Social Inbox sleek and streamlined.

You need at least one social media action, but NapoleonCat actions are optional. They're useful, though.

๐Ÿ’ก For example, you could reply to a product inquiry (social media action) and assign the conversation to your sales person in your Social Inbox (NapoleonCat action).

A customer complimenting your new eco-friendly packaging? Ride the wave! ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™€๏ธ Send them a thank you note, tag them as "Eco Warrior", and share the love for the planet!

And you can do all of these and more automatically - without lifting a finger!

Replying

Sure, automation is your goal, but sounding like a robot isn't! So, let's not parrot the same response over and over, as it'll come off as scripted. ๐Ÿฆœ

Thankfully, you can spice things up with multiple randomized responses when auto-responding to comments and messages.

If you go for "Reply as a comment" or "Reply in a private message" as your action, you can input a bunch of responses.

Auto-moderation will then serve as your response shuffler, delivering these replies in a random order:

Pair up actions

๐Ÿ†™ In one action block, you can mix and match some actions together. But keep in mind, you can only have two social media actions in a single block at most (three for "replying in a private message").

Here's how it works:

  • ๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Replying as a comment? Feel free to also send a private message

  • ๐Ÿ“ฉ Replying in a private message? You can also reply as a comment, hide the comment, delete it, or block the user

  • ๐Ÿ™ˆ Hiding a comment? You can also reply as a comment

  • ๐Ÿšซ Blocking a user? That's all there is to it - block and move on!

  • ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ Deleting a comment? You can also send a private message

Advanced branched rules

Ever wished you could handle different scenarios within a single Auto-moderation rule?

With multi-branch rules, you can branch out to have as many as 6 different triggers, each with its own actions!

Wondering how this wizardry works? Let's conjure up an example:

๐ŸŒSay, you've got a multilingual audience (lucky you!). You can set up a rule where if a comment is in English, the rule responds in English. But if the comment is in Spanish or French, the rule responds in the respective language.

When you're crafting an Auto-moderation rule, you'll define your first trigger and actions.

Then, just hit the plus button next to the first trigger, and voila! You can add up to 5 more triggers and actions for them:

Let's say you're setting up 3 different triggers for "Discount question" in English, Spanish, and French. Here's how your set-up could look:

So, instead of juggling multiple rules, you can have it all neat and organized in one rule!
