Imagine this: You're pouring your heart, soul, and money into creating the perfect product... And then competitors, or even pesky bots, come in and spam your hard-earned spaces with their own products.

And while everyone appreciates meaningful discussions and product comparisons, persistent spam is just nasty.

Good news! With NapoleonCat, you can auto-remove or hide those spammy comments, fan posts, or mentions promoting your competitors.

Your space should be about you and your product, not them. So let's silence the competitor chatter on your pages! 🤫

How it works

🚫 You're about to learn how to set up a virtual guardian who will instantly hide or remove any comments spamming competitor names.

☝️ Remember, though, this could suppress authentic conversation, and some people might not like it.

But: are the competitor mentions so invasive that they're significantly affecting your ads and sales? If so, let's proceed!

How to auto-remove or hide competitor spam

  1. Choose your platform - Facebook, Instagram, or Instagram ads - and the social media profile(s) this rule should protect (a)

Then, pick the type of message (such as organic comments, ad comments, fan posts, mentions, comments for a specific post, etc.) (b)

And set the condition to "All" (c)

  2. In the example above 👆, we'll focus on erasing all comments mentioning competitors on Facebook ads, but feel free to tailor this to your needs!

  3. Next up, keyword triggers. This is the most important part. Toggle this section on:

    Keywords

Put together a list of phrases and words others use to promote your competitors.

A mix of, for example, acme, *acme, *amce, *acme*, acme is better, could be a good start (replace with your competitor names).

Don't forget, some people get creative with spellings, so asterisks - * - are there to help you catch all variations.

💡 Pro tip: Browse past comments and interactions. Notice the words people often use to praise your rivals? Grab them - they're your new keywords!

Copy and paste those right into your keyword list:

  4. Up next, choose your action. Turn on "Social Media Actions", and either delete the unsolicited competitor mentions right away or just hide them from sight:
