Ever felt like your Instagram posts are attracting more than just likes and comments?
Like those random links promoting foolproof crypto investments, or those pushy self-help gurus advocating the power of waking up at 5 am to become a billionaire? 😉
With bots using Instagram as their personal billboard, it's about time you had a magic eraser to clean up the graffiti. 🖍️
Let's jump into how to auto-delete or auto-hide all comments containing links with NapoleonCat's Auto-moderation!
Auto-hide or remove comments with links
To auto-delete or auto-hide comments with links on Instagram or Instagram ads using NapoleonCat's Auto-moderation, simply follow these breezy steps:
Create a new Auto-moderation rule or edit an existing one
Choose your platform - Instagram or Instagram ads - and the Instagram profiles where you want the rule to work:
👆🏽 Next, select the type of message (like organic comments, ad comments - for Instagram ads, or comments for a specific post)
Turn the trigger field on. In keyword triggers add keywords - words or phrases that links typically contain, like:
https://
,www.
,*.com
,.org
,*www*
,*https*
, and so on:Using
*
lets you catch all variations of links, as the Auto-moderation then targets words with all possible prefixes and suffixes.💡Remember, the more keywords you add, the higher your chance of eliminating all comments with links!
➡️ Learn more about keyword triggers here.
Flip the "Social Media Actions" switch on, and select either "Hide" or "Delete":
Optionally, you can include NapoleonCat actions like tagging the message as "spam" or archiving it:
In the top-right corner, hit "Save&Run" to launch the rule into action right away, or "Save draft" to hold it for later:
And just like that, all those distracting links will disappear! 💨
With those links gone, it seems someone else will have to try getting rich overnight, build muscle after just four workouts, or... well, let's not mention the less decent ones out loud here. 😜
