How to send notifications from NapoleonCat to your Slack Workspace

Did you know that you can receive notifications from NapoleonCat on your Slack workspace? Setting it up is simple! Just follow these steps:

How to create a webhook on your Slack workspace

  1. Create an app in Slack

Go to the Slack developer dashboard and create a new app.

2. Choose from scratch configuration

On the pop-up window, choose from scratch configuration to generate your webhook address.

3. Name an app and choose a Slack workspace.

Just simply add the name of an integration, we strongly recommend naming it like NapoleonCat. Later choose your Slack Workspace

4.Create a webhook in Slack

Go to the 'Incoming Webhooks' page for your newly-created app

toggle 'Activate Incoming Webhooks' to turn it on. Then click on 'Add New Webhook to Workspace' and select the channel that the action posts to.

5. Toggle 'Activate Incoming Webhooks' to turn it on. And click on 'Add New Webhook to Workspace'

6. Select the channel that the action posts to. You can choose a channel or even a person in your channel

7. Copy the webhook. And that is all. All you need to do is copy the Webhook and connect it to NapoleonCat

Receive notifications from NapoleonCat on Slack

These steps have to be done in NapoleonCat

  1. Open the Integration tab in your Account settings

  2. Click Connect now next to the Slack Integration tab

3. In field number 1, paste your webhook

4. In field number 2, name your Slack channel. We recommend to name it as it is in Slack

And that is all! Now you can click define notifications to set up which notifications from NapoleonCat will be send to your Slack workspace!
