Just like glancing in the mirror before a night out or important meeting, previewing your social media posts ensures they're ready to shine! ✨

Let's explore how to review your posts before you hit "Publish" or "Schedule", to make sure they're free of typos or awkwardly cropped images.

It's all about engaging your audience with flawless content! ✒️

How to preview posts

OK, let's face it: who among us hasn't accidentally scheduled a "Happy Monday!" post on a Tuesday or made a similar mistake? 🤦

And while slip-ups like this might give your followers a chuckle, it's not always a professional look.

So, to preview your social media posts before publishing or scheduling them with NapoleonCat's Publisher, you need to:

  1. Create a post in NapoleonCat or edit an existing one as you normally would

  2. Add all the elements you'd have for going live: pictures, videos, reels, catchy captions, descriptions, links - make it perfect!

  3. Over the text of your post, choose a platform you want to preview.

  4. Glance to the right of the post-creation window, where the preview is already visible:

  5. Ta-da! There's your post, all dressed up and ready for the social media stage.

How post previews work

  • 🖼️ Previews aim to represent the final post as closely as possible. Small differences might sneak in due to social media's unique formatting, but nothing major

  • 🕵️ Previews always enable you to catch any issues and understand the overall appearance of the post

  • ⚡ Changed your mind mid-edit? No worries previews auto-refresh with every tweak

  • 📱 Previews work with all social media platforms and formats NapoleonCat supports, including video and image posts, carousels, reels, etc.
