How to edit a post

Here's how you can edit a post that's scheduled but not yet live:

  1. Click on the post you want to edit. You can do this from the main calendar view or other views - pick your favorite:

    If you're doing it from the main view, then click on the post again:

  2. Click on 'Cancel publication'. This puts your post on pause:

  3. Once you click 'Cancel,' you can edit your post and make any changes you need. Whether it's adding or swapping out images, switching up links, or adding more platforms, you've got full freedom. Now, you're in the director's chair! ๐ŸŽฌ

  4. When you're happy with your masterpiece, click on 'Save draft' if you want to come back and refine it later, or you can also toggle off 'Schedule post' and publish the post right away!


How to remove a post

The exclusive interview with the local fashion designer is no longer happening? Or maybe that yummy "dish of the day" post isn't going live in the end?

No need for those posts to fill up your calendar view!

๐Ÿ”ด When you remove a post using NapoleonCat, the post will not get published on the social media platform itself - it'll be cancelled.

To remove a post from your calendar, here's your game plan:

  1. Click on the post that needs to disappear.

  2. Ensure the post is in draft mode (unscheduled). If it's scheduled, simply hit "Cancel post".

  3. Next, push the "Save draft" button:

  4. Click the blue arrow to go back to the main calendar:

  5. You'll land back on the calendar view. Click the post once again and press the trash icon:

Your calendar is now as clean as a whistle. Post, sayonara! ๐Ÿ—‘๏ธ


How to duplicate a post
