Answer: Great question! For Facebook, your reports and analytics will reflect interactions from all public posts, including those you've promoted. However, interactions from 'dark posts' are not included.
As for Instagram, your analytics and reports will only reflect organic interactions. Sadly, any interactions you got through paid promotions, even on public posts, won't appear, due to Instagram's API limitations.
