To save your time, you have two ready-to-go templates to tackle offensive content on Facebook and Instagram (including ads):

Customize your rules
First, choose your social media platform (you can pick one: Facebook - including ads, Instagram, or Instagram ads)
If you chose the "Automatically hide offensive words on Facebook" template, Facebook will be selected by default. ππ½
Then, pick the social media profiles your rule will work on. ππ½ You can choose multiple pages
Now it's time to choose the type of message and condition (All) your rule will apply to.
This article talks about comments, but you can choose anything from mentions, ad comments, organic comments to private messages, etc. - you call the shots. You can pick one message type per rule:
Then, review the list of keywords and add in some more. Remember, the more offensive words you add, the better your rule:

Finish customizing your rule
Now, it's your call: what's going to happen to those comments?
The default action is 'Hide':
But you've got other options. You can:
Stick with 'Hide' (which keeps the comment viewable to the person who posted it, but out of sight for others) π
Combine 'Hide' with 'Reply as comment' to drop a hint about the rules π
Choose 'Delete' ποΈ
Or pair 'Delete' with 'Reply in a private message' to remind the user about the rules βπ½
Switching actions is easy - hit the trash icon to remove, or the plus icon to add. Your social media, your rules!

Once you've tailored your rule, hit 'Save&Run' in the top right corner to put your rule into action! π
