So you've connected some Facebook or Instagram pages before, but now you've taken on a new client or simply need to add more pages? Awesome, your business is growing! π±
If those profiles aren't showing up on the list, don't worry β we've got you covered. Here's how to fix it.
πββοΈFriendly tip: Before you jump into connecting, ensure you're managing the profile and rocking the right permission levels on the social media platform itself.
Method 1 - "Edit Settings" button
π½οΈ Check out this easy-to-follow video to connect your missing FB or IG pages to NapoleonCat:
For extra clarity, you can follow these text instructions:
In NapoleonCat, jump into Workspace Settings
Hit "Connect profile":
Choose "Facebook Page" or "Instagram Business Profile" from the list, and follow through
Now, depending on your previous configuration, you might either see or not see this screen.
If you see it, hit "Reconnect Instagram" or "Reconnect Facebook".
If not, simply move forward with the next steps.
If you're already logged into the right account, simply select "Edit Settings":
If you're on the wrong account, log in to your FB account that's an admin for your FB or IG page (see the "Log into another account" button). Then, hit "Edit Settings".
You'll now see checkboxes next to all your pages. Double-check that the ones you'd like to connect have a checkmark in their box.
If not, go ahead and give those boxes a tick. π
π€³When connecting Instagram pages:
Pick your IG Business accounts:
Tick FB pages your IG Business pages are linked with:
π΅ When connecting Facebook pages:
Simply check the boxes to next to your FB pages:
To make sure NapoleonCat can properly manage those profiles, go ahead and give us the thumbs up on all requested permissions:
And you're almost there! π
At this point, you'll be taken back to the NapoleonCat app. Hit the "Connect" button next to each FB or IG page you'd like to link, located on the right side of the screen:
And just like that, you're all set to go! π
Method 2 - Facebook Business Integrations
Take a stroll over to Facebook Business Integrations while logged into your admin account (not viewing Facebook as your company page)
Click "View & Edit" next to the NapoleonCat App:
Make sure to tick the checkboxes next to all the new pages you want to connect
Toggle on all requested permissions and then hit "Save"
In NapoleonCat, proceed with adding your profiles as usual
VoilΓ ! You're all set! π
