NapoleonCat's Analytics provides a detailed view of your social media performance. All the metrics available in the Analytics module can be found in this article: Analytics: Overview, Features, Benefits. While most of these metrics are organic, some also take into account paid traffic. Below, we'll explain which metrics include paid data, dividing them by social media platform.

Facebook

On Facebook, most data is presented as organic. These are the exceptions:

  • Total Reach: Shows the total number of unique users who have been served any activity from your page, including posts, posts by others, page like ads, mentions, and check-ins over a specified period.

    • Organic Reach is the number of people who saw an unpaid post from your Page enter their screens. Organic reach can be broken down into viral and non-viral.

    • Paid Reach is the number of people who had a paid post from your Page appear on their screens.

  • Impressions: Measures how often your content appears on users' screens, including posts, stories, check-ins, ads, and social information from people who interact with your page, and more. This metric counts each instance your content is displayed, regardless of whether it was clicked or not. This is also divided into organic and paid.

    • Paid Impressions result from promoted content seen by a targeted audience.

    • Organic Impressions are views generated by unpaid content. Organic impressions can be broken down into viral and non-viral.

  • Video Views: Tracks the number of views your video content receives. This metric is broken down into paid and organic views.

Instagram

For Instagram, most data provided is organic. However, there are a few exceptions that include ad activity.

  • Reach: Shows the total number of unique users who have been served any activity from your page, including posts, posts by others, page like ads, mentions, and check-ins over a specified period.

  • Reach by media product type is a metric representing results by the surface where viewers viewed or interacted with the app user's media. Ads are one of the possible media types to view here.

  • Views by media product type is a metric representing results by the surface where viewers viewed or interacted with the app user's media. Ads are one of the possible media types to view here.

TikTok

Most of the data provided for TikTok in NapoleonCat is organic. The exception is when the analytics also include "Only show in ads" video posts. This means that while these video posts are used exclusively as ads and don't appear in the account's profile, their data is still included in the following metrics:

  • Post kind, which is the number of published posts,

  • Post ER, the average engagement rate,

  • Post reached audience, the number of unique users who saw the content,

  • Post comments,

  • Post average time, the average time users spent watching your videos,

  • Post shares, the number of shares your posts received, and

  • Post total time watch, the total amount of time users spent watching your videos.

LinkedIn

On LinkedIn, two metrics take into consideration paid traffic:

  • Followers change daily: This metric is divided into followers growth from organic traffic and followers growth from paid traffic.

  • Page Impressions: Measures the total number of times any content from your Page or about your Page is displayed to users. This includes posts, stories, check-ins, ads, and social information from people who interact with your Page.

YouTube

All YouTube data presented in the NapoleonCat Analytics is organic only.
