If you originally created your NapoleonCat account using Google login (SSO) or Facebook, you might have noticed that you're unable to log into the mobile app. That’s because our mobile app does not currently support Google login. So, if you never set a traditional password, you won’t be able to access the app on your phone.
The good news? There’s a simple workaround. By following the steps below, you’ll enable login using email and password, which works in both the browser and the mobile app.
🔧 Step-by-step: How to Enable Email & Password Login
✅ Step 1: Turn Off Google Login in Your Account Settings
Log in to NapoleonCat in your web browser.
Click your profile icon in the top right corner and go to Account Settings.
Navigate to the Profile tab.
Find the Google/Facebook login option and toggle it off.
✅ Step 2: Log Out
Once you’ve disabled Google login, log out of NapoleonCat.
Refresh the login page or close the browser tab.
✅ Step 3: Use “Forgot Password”
On the login screen, click “Forgot password”.
Enter your Google/Facebook email address (the one you used to log in before).
You’ll receive an email with a link to set a new password.
Click the link and create your new password.
✅ Step 4: Log in with Email and Password
Now that you’ve set a password, you can:
Log into NapoleonCat in your browser using your email and password.
Log into the mobile app using the same email and password.
🔁 (Optional) Step 5: Re-enable Google Login
If you want to continue using Google login on desktop:
Log into NapoleonCat in your browser.
Go back to the Profile tab in your account settings.
Enable Google login by turning the toggle back on.
